She was one of the first makeup artists who truly inspired me, shaping my understanding of beauty in a way that has stayed with me to this day. Her style is raw yet refined, bold yet timeless. And now, after all these years, I find myself in Sydney, sitting in her masterclass, learning directly from the artist who once sparked my passion.
It’s a rare and special thing to meet someone who has influenced your journey so deeply—and even rarer to find that they are exactly as incredible as you imagined. Watching Rae work, hearing her share her knowledge, and experiencing her mastery up close has been nothing short of inspiring.
This journey has reminded me why I fell in love with makeup in the first place. The artistry, the storytelling, the way beauty and fashion intertwine—it’s all still just as exciting, just as magical. And for that, I’m endlessly grateful.
